At first glance, not many people may see the common thread between real estate and the entertainment industry, but for me, it has always been a natural fit. Throughout my career, I've seamlessly navigated between these two dynamic worlds.
In a whirlwind of experiences that would make even the most seasoned multitasker break a sweat, I've embarked on a thrilling journey that has taken me from the pulsating beats of A&R at Atlantic Records to managing recording artists. And if that wasn't enough excitement, I managed to marry a real estate attorney and together we raised a lively brood of four kids, all of whom decided to dip their toes—all 40 of them—into the entertainment industry. It's like a family reunion meets a talent show every day at our place, with one making beats in the vibrant music scene of Chicago, another playing the role of a talented dance agent in NYC, and two more working their magic behind the scenes of TV productions in the glitzy world of LA.
But amidst the glamour and applause, the real estate bug always found its way back into my life, like a persistent yet endearing companion. For the past 25 years I’ve donned my realtor's hat, deftly maneuvered the intricacies of property transactions and managed bustling real estate offices. Not content with a single act, I ventured into the realm of talent management, starting my own company and guiding rising stars towards their glittering destinies.
Through it all, the ebb and flow of real estate persisted, with me managing yet another thriving office and even taking on the roles of coach and mentor for both actors and realtors seeking their own spotlight. Somewhere amidst the chaos, I even found time to run a real estate referral company with 6000 agents in 24 states —because, apparently, sleep is overrated.
Throughout this wild ride, there has always been one constant: my unwavering commitment to guiding and supporting others in realizing their aspirations. Whether it's helping someone find their dream home, facilitating the bittersweet sale of a cherished family abode, nurturing raw talent to flourish, or empowering individuals to become exceptional salespeople, my purpose remains steadfast—to make a difference in the lives of those I have the privilege to serve.
So, if you're in search of someone who can rock the stage of real estate with passion, expertise, and a healthy dose of humor, look no further. I'm here to help you navigate the twists and turns of your own journey and turn your dreams into a standing ovation. -- Karen
